Library hosting ‘Have A Roaring Good Time: Summer Reading Challenge 2021’

“Tails and Tales” is this Summer Reading Challenge theme, and it's going to be wild, as local youth can explore the animal world with furry, fishy, and ferocious stories that inspire imaginations.

The program, which begins June 7 and runs through the end of July is open to all ages and will offer you the chance to earn rewards for meeting reading goals and participating in fun and creative activities.

There will be a mix of virtual and live in-person events throughout the library district, and participants do not need a library card to participate.

People can sign up at the Barry-Lawrence Regional Library's Website,, or pick up a paper registration at a local library branch.

There will be prizes and rewards for meeting reading goals and also a grand prize drawing at the end of this summer's program.
