Kansas City Life Insurance Company general agent celebrates 50 years
Gary Chaney, CLU®, was honored for 50 years of loyal service to Kansas City Life Insurance Company this month.
Chaney is the general agent of the Chaney Agency in Fayetteville, Ark., selling financial and life insurance products through Kansas City Life.
Chaney joined Kansas City Life’s Hall of Fame for $100 million of life insurance in force in 1999. He is a 28-time qualifier for Kansas City Life’s President’s Club and an 11-time qualifier for the Company’s elite Top Hatters Conference. His agency won the Company’s most prestigious award, the Agency Building Award (ABA), in 1976, and the ABA Honorable Mention in 1979. His agency was also honored with the President’s Quality Service Award four times, in 1999, 2004, 2005 and 2007, which recognizes the agency’s close relationship of ethical practice to quality service.
“My time in this industry has been good,” Chaney said. “I have no regrets. At this point, I plan to continue on just as I have in the past. Thanks a million to everyone at Kansas City Life for what they have done for me and my family.”
Chaney was born and raised in Cassville, and his father, Norman Chaney, represented Kansas City Life for 50 years in Cassville. Gary Chaney and his wife, Becky, live in Wesley, Ark.
