Cassville readies for tough soccer schedule

Dreams are abounding for the Cassville soccer program on what could be this season.

The Wildcats are young, but the coaches are excited about the talent level at their disposal.

Whi;le the jury is still out on whether the skill will materailize into more victories,. teh soccer schedule shows the team will be battle tested come the district playoffs.

Cassville opens the season Sept. 1 through 5 with the annual Wildcats Classic.

A quick trip to Thomas Jefferosn on Sept. 8 gives way to the Warrior Classic on Sept. 10-12.

A trio of road games then flood the way with trips to Fair Grove, (Sept. 15); Marshfield (Sept. 17); and College Heights (Sept. 22).

The Greenwood Classic is set for Sept. 26 followed by a trip to Logan-Rogersville on Sept. 29.

The first true home opener for the Wildcats finally occurs on Oct. 1 with College Heights return the home and home series.

An Oct. 6 contest at McDonald County gives way to a pair of home bouts against Aurora, Oct. 8 and Greenwood, Oct. 13.

Cassville then tangles with Springfield Catholic on Oct. 15 before ending the season with three home games Oct. 20 with New Covenant; Oct. 27 with Monet and Oct. 29 against Hillcrest.
