Pets of the Week

Meet (lots of) kittens, the Haven of the Ozarks Pets of the Week. Itís kitten season, and thatís not a good thing. The Haven loves kittens, but cats reproduce very quickly and there simply arenít homes for them all. During spring and summer, every rescue is absolutely overflowing with kittens and many more waiting to get in. Please consider adopting a kitten or two (theyíre even more fun in pairs). There will be around 20 babies who will need homes in the next few weeks. Haven pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested for FIV and feline leukemia. This is a great value for a $75 adoption fee. It would cost much more to have the vet work done independently. The Haven also requests people fix their pets. There are too many homeless animals and not enough rescues to save them all. The Haven is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day of the week, or people may call 417-835-3647 for more information.
