Arkansas man injured in bike wreck
Harley hits road sign north of Shell Knob
An Arkansas man was injured Wednesday in a wreck at 4:25 p.m. on Highway 39, five miles north of Shell Knob.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jason Koeffler, 42, of Eureka Springs, Ark., was driving a 2007 Harley Davidson XL1200N motorcycle northbound when his vehicle traveled off the roadway, struck a road sign and overturned.
Koeffler suffered serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
He was wearing a safety device, and damage to the motorcycle was minor.
