James Henry Kremeier
James Henry Kremeier, 81, of Shell Knob, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018, at his home.
He was born Oct. 9, 1936, in Okarche, Okla., the son of Henry H. and Agnes M. (Schroeder) Kremeier. On Nov. 14, 1966, in Wichita Falls, Texas, he was united in marriage to Christine Vilser. Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Donna Kremeier.
Survivors include: his wife of 51 years, Christine; one daughter, Monica Hull and her husband John T. of Panama City Beach, Fla.; one son, Kevin Kremeier and his wife Kim of Shell Knob; one sister, Wanda Moeller of Okarche, Okla.; two brothers, Warren Earl Kremeier and his wife Paula of Grain Valley, and David Kremeier of Geary, Okla.; and six grandchildren.
He graduated from Okarche High School with the class of 1954. From March 3, 1956, until Feb. 28, 1962, he served in the U.S. Navy as a fireman. For several years, he worked as a heavy equipment operator, retiring from Hutchens Construction at Cassville in 1998. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Shell Knob.
