Cassville heads to McDonald County with gold on its mind

The Cassville boys and girls track teams head to Anderson on Thursday for the annual Big 8 Conference track meet.

For the last eight weeks, the Wildcats and Lady Wildcats have been dialing in their craft, and now, is the time for them to bring home conference gold.

Cassville is fresh off fourth place finishes at Monett last week. The results are as follows:


200-meter: Austin Wilson, 22.75, school record

Javelin: Jordan Reed, 151-4, school record

400-meter: Austin Wilson, 51.35

Shot put: Skyler Wolf, 44-7


110 hurdles: Jesse Anthonysz, 17.21

4x200 relay: Devon Brookes, DJ White, Austin Wilson and Anthony Tolbert, 1:36.2
