Drug Enforcement team serves 4 Barry County warrants
6 people arrested in sweep of unrelated investigations
The Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team served four search warrants on April 25 in Barry County, arresting a total of six people.
The first warrant was served in the 19000 area of Hwy. 112 Cassville. Chester Cavins, 42, was arrested for delivery of a controlled substance and has charges from the Conservation Department for illegal possession of antlers. Billy Thompson, 40, was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
The second warrant was served in the 7000 block of Persimon Street in Seligman. Christopher Herring, 23, was arrested for child endangerment and possession of a controlled substance; Jeffrey Herring, 58, was arrested for child endangerment and possession of marijuana; and Tiffany Stacey, 24, was arrested for child endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The third warrant was served in the 100 block of Elm Street in Monett. This investigation is still ongoing, but one female at the residence was arrested for four warrants.
The last warrant was served in the 100 block of Broadway in Exeter. This investigation is ongoing there are no charges at this time.
The Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team, Barry County Sheriff's Office, Monett Police Department, Exeter Police Department, Seligman Police Department and Missouri Department Conservation all worked together to serve the warrants.
The warrants were not related, but were four separate investigations conducted by the Drug Enforcement Team.
