Charles Edward Simpson, 83, of Cassville, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015, in Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation Cassville.
He was born April 6, 1932, in Seibert, Colo., the son of Charles E. and Velma (Fisher) Simpson, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were one stepdaughter, Carol Eaton; his companion, Dorothy Brooks and three brothers, David, Robert and Bill Simpson.
Survivors include: four sons, Marvin Simpson, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Charles Simpson, of Larned, Kan., Norman Simpson and his wife, Sara, of Rogers, Ark., and Walt Simpson and his wife, Amber, of Pueblo, Colo.; one stepson, Tom Brooks and his wife, Stephanie, of Cassville; one stepdaughter, Carrie Brooks, of Springfield; one brother, Larry Simpson and his wife, Bonnie, of Pampa, Texas; two sisters, Sue Bowen and her husband, Dwight, of Hollis, Okla., and Lanie Ingram and husband, Ronnie, of Pampa, Texas; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
He attended school in Wellington, Texas. In 1995, he moved from Pueblo, Colo., to Cassville, to make his home. Funeral services were held Tuesday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Larry Henbest and Pastor Carolyn McNabb conduct ed the services. Burial was at Mineral Springs Cemetery, Cassville.
