Charges against Eagle Rock man dropped
3 felonies dismissed
Three felony charges against an Eagle Rock man have been dismissed by the Barry County prosecutor.
David Goodson, 47, of Eagle Rock, was charged in April with first-degree domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon and false imprisonment.
The charges stemmed from an incident on April 8, where Goodson was accused of striking a female victim in the head with the butt of a loaded pistol while he was intoxicated.
Goodson was released from the Barry County jail on a $50,000 bond less about a week after his arrest.
As has been her practice since being elected, Amy Boxx, Barry County prosecutor, did not respond to multiple messages left for comment.
