Peggy Clark, 61, of Exeter, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield.
She was born Jan. 28, 1953, in Cassville, the daughter of James C. and Dorothy (Chappell) Lemons. On Nov. 28, 1969, she was united in marriage to Clinton Ray Clark, who survives.
Additional survivors include: one son, Clifford Ray Clark, of Exeter; two daughters, Dorothy Hobbs and her husband, Jeff, of Exeter, and Terri Bradford, of Exeter; one sister, Teresa Pendergraft, of Exeter; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Larry Lemons.
She received her education at Exeter. She and Clint lived in Arkansas for a while, where she worked as a nurse. She had been employed in various stores and owned restaurants in Exeter and Wheaton. She attended Rocky Comfort Church of Christ and was a member of Exeter Lions Club.
Funeral services were held Thursday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Steve Spillman and Richard Anderson conducted the services. Burial was at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter.
