Charles E. Britton, 54, of Cassville, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013, in his home.

He was born March 7, 1959, in El Paso, Texas, the son of Millard and Sharon (Petty) Britton. On Oct.11, 1994, he was united in marriage to Jaquetta "Jackie" Graves, who survives.

Additional survivors include: one son, Charles Britton, of Aurora; two daughters, Melissa Britton Kephart, of El Paso, Texas, and Karina Britton, of Reeds Spring; his father, Millard Britton, of Monett; one brother, Terry Britton, of El Paso, Texas; one sister, Kimberly Britton, of El Paso, Texas; and several grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Sharon Petty.

He received his education in New Mexico, graduating from Denning High School and attended Southern New Mexico University. He had served in the U.S. Army. For several years, he was a measurement technician for El Paso Natural Gas. In 1989, he moved to Pierce City, and after their marriage in 1994, he and Jackie moved to Cassville to make their home.

Services were held today (Wednesday) in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Pastor Paul Wahlert conducted the services.
