Carol Faye "Cookie" Wiseley, 71, of Jenkins, passed away Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, in Red Rose Health and Rehabilitation Center, Cassville.

She was born Aug. 21, 1941, in Kansas City, the daughter of John Mason and Clydia B. (Berry) Williams. On June 21, 1958, in Cape Fair, she was united in marriage to Blaine Leon Wiseley, who preceded her in death on July 8, 2002. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Tommy Williams and John Williams, Jr.; and six sisters, Agnes Farr, Alice Peters, Mabel Beller, Goldie Thurston, Laura June Underwood and Billie Jo Williams.

Survivors include: one son, John Wiseley, of Springfield; one brother, Rev. Jim Williams and his wife, Rev. Korbie Williams, of Mano; and one sister, Judy Smith and her husband, Louis, of Rogers, Ark.

She spent her early years in Kansas City, where she received some of her education. In 1955, her family moved to southwest Missouri, and she completed her education at Reeds Spring. For several years, she was employed for Justin Boot Factory.

Funeral services were held Thursday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Jim Williams and Rev. Korbie Williams conducted the services. Burial was at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Cassville. Contributions may be made to Boy Scouts of America in her memory.
