Physicals to be offered at SW

The Southwest R-5 School District is partnering with Mercy Clinics to offer low-cost sports physicals to Southwest students who plan to play sports during the 2012-13 school year and will be entering the fifth through 12 grades.

Physicals will be conducted in the high school gymnasium beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1. The cost is $5.

Physical forms, which must be completed in advance, are now available at school offices. Office hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
