Jacqueline "Jackie" (O'Benar) Clark, 76, of Shell Knob, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, in her home.

She was born Dec. 14, 1935, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of John and Emma (Schue) O'Benar. On Dec. 29, 1961, in Aurora, Ill., she was united in marriage to Ronald Allen "Ron" Clark, who survives.

Additional survivors include: one son, James E. "Jim" Gardner, of Naperville, Ill.; one daughter, Victoria "Vicki" Lander and her husband, Jeff, of Oswego, Ill.; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, John O'Benar.

She grew up and received her education in Illinois, graduating from high school in Waucanda, Ill. She attended Aurora University and later obtained her associate degree from Waubonsee Community College. In 2000, she and Ron moved to Shell Knob to make their home after spending each summer in the area since 1969.

Funeral services were held Saturday in Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Pastor Tom Rees conducted the services. Burial was at Painter Cemetery, Shell Knob.
