City to host fall clean-up

The City of Cassville will host its fall clean-up days Nov. 7 through Nov. 11. Allied Waste will collect a variety of items on its regular trash routes.

Microwaves, furniture, barbecue grills and other items will be collected at the curb on regular trash pick-up days during the clean-up

The following items will not be accepted: televisions, computers, tires, yard waste, dead animals, oil, raw sewage, hazardous materials, wet paint, varnish containers, flammable substances, pesticides, explosives, lead and acid batteries, medical waste and chemicals.

Individuals who have appliances that they would like to dispose of should call Cassville City Hall at 847-4441, extension 10. There may be an additional charge to pick up some appliances.

Cassville residents are also reminded that Allied Waste will run its regular trash routes on Friday, Nov. 11, which is Veterans Day.
