Celebrate Cassville Homecoming at a Homecoming Luncheon and Golf Tournament on Friday, Sept. 30 at the Cassville Golf Course. The event is sponsored by the Cassville Education Fund.

Non-golfers and golfers alike are invited to enjoy barbecue sandwiches and sides from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the golf course dining room. Admission is $7 per person and includes a barbecue sandwich, two sides, dessert and refreshments.

Registration for a two-man scramble will begin at 11:30 a.m. with competition starting at noon. The tournament is limited to the first 40 teams that register. The cost for participating is $50 per player or $100 per team.

Mulligans will be available at registration. The number of teams will determine cash prizes and flights. Hole prizes will also be awarded.

Individuals who are unable to play in the scramble are invited to compete in a putting contest, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The contest is open to anyone.

Participants can purchase three putts for $10. The putting contest winner will receive four passes to any Arrowhead Golf Club, including 18 holes of golf, cart fee and range balls.
