Mary M. Butcher, 82, of Eagle Rock, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at the Red Rose Health and Rehab in Cassville.

She was born on Nov. 5, 1928, in Pawhuska, Okla. Her parents, Albert Earnest Weston, and Lydia Estella (Beaver) Weston were born and raised in Seligman.

She and her husband, Donald Butcher, were married 44 years, and lived together in Des Moines, Iowa, until July, 2009. Donald recently passed on March 25, 2011, in California.

Survivors include: two sons, Dennis L Mason and his wife, Donna, of Sanford, N.C., and Robert E. Mason and his wife, Sandy, of Osceola, Iowa; two daughters, Vera L. Weston-Draper and her husband, David, of Eagle Rock, and Victoria L. Moore and her husband, Gene, of Payson, Ariz.; two brothers, Ray Earl Weston and his wife, Iris, of Basehor, Kan., and Roy Weston and his, wife, Gayle, of Pittsburg, Kan.; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death one child, Roger Allen Price, who passed away on June 23, 2003, in Osceola, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life service is planned for Saturday, May 7, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Beaver Cemetery in Seligman under the direction of White Funeral Home.
