Mary Regina Dubuque, 87, of Shell Knob, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.

She was born March 31, 1923, in St. Louis, the daughter of Charles and Anna M. (Rieser) Gardner. On Sept. 17, 1949, in St. Louis, she was united in marriage to Raymond A. Dubuque, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers and a grandson.

Survivors include: seven sons, Raymond J. Dubuque and his wife, Sharon, of Lonedell, Rick Dubuque and his wife, Pam, of Pacific, Bill Dubuque and his wife, Pat, of Pacific, Tom Dubuque and his wife, Regina, of St. Louis, Paul Dubuque, of Mountain Home, Ark., Bob Dubuque, of Shell Knob, and John Dubuque, of Harrison, Ark.; two daughters, Peggy Sisco, of Harrison, Ark., and Linda Wetzel and her husband, Mike, of St. Peters; one brother, John Gardner and his wife, Peggy, of Kansas City; 22 grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren.

She grew up and received her education in St. Louis, where she graduated from high school and attended college. She was a homemaker and volunteered as a nurse's aide in the St. Louis School system. In 1985, she moved from St. Louis to Shell Knob to make her home. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Shell Knob.

Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) in Shell Knob First Baptist Church, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Pastor Bob Gaddis conducted the services. Burial was at Fields Cemetery, Shell Knob.
