Dolly Barnes, 91, of Jenkins, passed away Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, at St. John's Hospital, Cassville.

She was born May 10, 1919, in Piney Mountains to Thomas and Lilly (Cook) Hilton. She was united in marriage to J.O. "Jim" Barnes in 1935. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three sons, Charles and Leon, both of Jenkins, and J.L. Barnes, of Aurora; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Joyce Ina; two sisters, Dorothy Hall and Mary Harmon; two brothers, Amos and Benton Hilton; and one great-grandson.

She was a life-long resident of Barry County. She enjoyed fishing, listening to music, as well as attending music and singing events and going to Silver Dollar City. She was a member of Community Faith Church in Cassville.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Doyle Russell will conduct the services. Burial will be in Clio Cemetery, Jenkins.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
