Vena Reynolds, 73, of Joplin, passed away Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Joplin.

She was born Nov. 9, 1937, in Bent County, Colo., the daughter of Pete and Sarah (Ramirez) Quintana. On Oct. 2, 1954, she was united in marriage to Roger Reynolds, who survives.

Additional survivors include: son, Chuck Reynolds and his wife, Vicky, of Diamond; daughter, Sheila Holmes and her husband, Michael, of Endicott, N.Y., son, Tony Reynolds and his wife, Alicia, of Endicott, N.Y., son, Roger Reynolds and his wife, Marcy, of Albuquerque, N.M., daughter, Sue Cleary and her husband, Jim, of Endicott, N.Y., son, Brian Reynolds and his wife, Liliana of Orlando, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Juanita Martinez, Christina Candelaria and Bessie Salazar.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Sarah Quintana, and her brother, Pete Quintana, Jr.

She retired from IBM Corporation in 1992 and traveled the country with her husband until they settled in Missouri in 2003.

Graveside services were held Saturday at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter, under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Greg Snow officiated.
