A pair of Cassville High School football players have been chosen to participate in the seventh annual Sertoma Grin Iron Classic football game, which will be held on June 7 at Missouri State University's Plaster Sports Complex in Springfield.

Seniors Ryan Rowley and Danny Naugle have been named to the West Team roster. Rowley was tapped as defensive back and wide receiver, and Naugle will play as fullback or defensive end. Players were selected for this honor by the Southwest Missouri High School Football Coaches Association. Other Big 8 players named to the roster include: Aaron Cervin, of Carl Junction; David Adams, of East Newton; Eric Botts, of Mt. Vernon; Fatmir Osmani, of Monett; John Graessle, of Monett; Kellen Cox, of Mt. Vernon; Matt Price, of Aurora; Nick Allphin, of East Newton; Tyler Elbert, of Seneca; and Zach Thompson, of Seneca.

The West Team will be coached by Doug Buckmaster, of Joplin, and his staff.

According to organizers, the GIC has become a tradition for Ozarks' football players and fans, providing one final game for the best graduated senior players.

The game will pit nearly 100 of southwest Missouri's top football players against each other in all-star format. Kick-off is 7 p.m., and area residents are encouraged to attend and cheer on Rowley and Naugle.

The Grin Iron Classic benefits the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, also known as "The Tooth Truck." The annual operating budget for this service that provides mobile dental treatment for at-risk children exceeds $500,000.
