Sandra "Sandy" Bierschwal, 58, of Exeter, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2008, at her home in Exeter.

She was born on Aug. 19, 1949, in Cassville, daughter of Ira and Ruth (Nelson) Brown, She was united in marriage to Rome "John" Bierschwal on March 10, 1980, in Miami, Okla., and he survives.

She attended the Solid Rock Baptist Church in Wheaton. She was employed for several years at the old Roaring River Restaurant.

Additional survivors include: one son, Kevin England, of Exeter; two daughters, Angie Hall, of Cassville, and Melissia Reynolds, and her husband, Rob, of Neosho; two step-children, Ty Bierschwal and Brad Bierschwal, both of Granite City, Ill.; four brothers, Roger Brown, of Exeter, Larry Brown, of Fairview, Jody Brown, of Exeter, and Denny Brown, of Monett; two sisters, Evelyn Haddock, of Exeter, and Kim Stout, of Fayetteville, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Kristi England; a step-daughter, Kim Gancheffs; and two brothers, Frankie Brown, and Harold Brown Sr.

Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at the White Funeral Home in Cassville, with Brother Steve Higgs officiating. Burial was at the Concord Cemetery, Exeter, with special music by Cody and Aaron Ennis. Arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home, Cassville.
