Hazel Corene Easley, age 69, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008, in Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Ark.

She was born Aug. 12, 1938, in St. Joseph, Missouri, the daughter of Warren and Lucille (Taylor) Wright. In 1958 she was united in marriage to Dale Easley who preceded her in death in 1966. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bill Wright and a sister, Ruthanna Wright.

She is survived by two sons, Terry Easley, and his wife, Kim, of Tucson, Ariz., and Brian Easley and his wife, Tammy, of Springdale, Ark.; a daughter, Gina Kelly, of Minneapolis, Minn.; a brother, Bob Wright, of St. Joseph, Mo; a sister, Patricia Lloyd, of St. Joseph, Mo.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Corene grew up and received her education in St. Joseph. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Missouri Western State College and worked as a counselor for years. When she moved to Cassville in 1992, she began working as a home healthcare worker and substitute teacher. Corene was of the Baptist faith.

Memorial service were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. James Weaver conducted the services.
