Crilla J. DeWitt, 78, of Washburn, passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007.

She was born Oct. 18, 1929, in Pitcher, Okla., the daughter of James and Goldia (White) Cook. She was united in marriage July 19, 1946, at Columbus, Kan., to Kennith Dewitt, who survives.

Survivors include: her husband of over 61 years; one son, James DeWitt and his wife, Ruth, of Evanston, Wyo.; three daughters, Joyce Lahr, of Washburn, Janice Faulkner and her husband, Laymon, of West Fork, Ark., and Jeanette Corn and her husband, Duane, of Seligman; one half-sister, Janice French, of Kansas City; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter-in-law, Louise DeWitt and two grandsons. She graduated from Southwest High School at Washburn. She worked at Daisy Manufacturing in Rogers, Ark., for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Washburn, and the VFW ladies auxiliary.

Funeral services were at Tuesday in First Baptist Church, Washburn, under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Glenn Erwin and Rev. Jim Erwin conducted the services. Burial was at Roller Cemetery, Washburn.
