Neva L. Winston, 86, of Cassville, passed away Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, in Barry County Care Center.

She was born Oct. 22, 1920, in Lanton, the daughter of Charles Thomas and Delcie Matilda (Wolf) Jackson, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two babies, one sister, four uncles and two grandsons.

Survivors include: one son, Charles A. Winston and his wife, Pam, of Bowling Green, Ky.; two daughters, Barbara Kidwell and her husband, Bill, of Jay, Okla., and Charlotte Marie Pelham and her husband, Steve, of San Antonio, Texas; one brother, Leon Jackson and his wife, Elma, of Cassville; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

She received her education in Cassville, where she graduated from high school. For several years she was employed as a ticket agent for Trailways Bus Line in Houston, Texas, from which she retired. After her retirement 25 years ago, she returned to Missouri to make her home.

Graveside services were held Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Doyle Russell conducted the services.
