Ruby Lee Sagarsee

Ruby Lee Sagarsee, 85, of Monett, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007, in Monett Health Care Center, Monett.

She was born June 22, 1921, in the State of Tennessee, the daughter of Lunis and Cora Lee (Campbell) Shoffner. On Sept. 29, 1941, in Kokomo, Ind., she was united in marriage to Henry Murphy Sagarsee, who preceded her in death Dec. 9, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents and ten brothers and sisters.

Survivors include: one daughter, Sharlotte Beamer and her husband, Terrance, of Grand Blanc, Mich.; two grandchildren; one great grandson; one brother; and four sisters.

She received her education in Tennessee where she graduated from high school. She attended God s Bible School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She had resided in Indiana for a while and then moved to Flint, Mich. When her husband, Henry, retired in 1969, they moved to Garfield, Ark, where they owned and operated the Lost Bridge Kennel. In November 2002, they moved to Monett to make their home.

She was a member of the Nazarene faith.

Graveside services were held today (Wednesday) in Ruddick Cemetery, Garfield, Ark., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Don Beeson conducted the services.
