Virginia A. Weber, 83, of Marionville, formerly of Shell Knob, passed away Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.

She was born June 29, 1923, in Kansas. On April 11, 1970, in Topeka, Kan., she was united in marriage to Don Merrill Weber, who preceded her in death on March 30, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Survivors include: a son, John Dodder, of Shell Knob; two stepsons, Don Weber, II and George Weber, both of Kansas and two stepdaughters, Virginia Bryant and her husband, Donald, of Wichita, Kan., and Melissa Carone and her husband, Mike, of Mustang, Okla.

She lived most of her life in Kansas. She worked 37years for the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Topeka, Kan. In 1986 after her retirement she moved to Shell Knob to make her home. She was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Eagles Lodge in Shell Knob.

Her body was cremated under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob.

A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Monday in Ozark Methodist Manor, Marionville.
