Nora Ryan Greuling, 81, of Shell Knob, passed away Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, in St. John's Regional Medical Center, Joplin.

She was born March 31, 1925, in New York, the daughter of Phillip and Agnes (Lennon) Ryan. She was united in marriage to Edward Charles Greuling, who preceded her in death in November 1984. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Survivoris include: two sons, Glen Joseph Greuling, of Grand Junction, Colo., and Thomas Andrew Greuling of Springfield; one daughter, Mary Frances Denton and her husband, Duke, of Shell Knob; one brother, Phillip Ryan and his wife, Kate, of Henderson, Nev.; two sisters, Betty Abrams, of Setauket, N. Y., and Dorothy Roberts and her husband, Edward, of Peoria, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Leah, Zachary, Cody, Ashton and Mia and one great grandchild.

She received her education in Long Island, N. Y., where she graduated from high school. In 1979 she moved to Shell Knob to make her home.

She was a member of Solo's and Holy Family Catholic Church in Shell Knob, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Father David Miller will conduct the services.

Burial will be at Painter Cemetery, Shell Knob.

Rosary was at 4 p.m. today (Wednesday) in Holy Family Catholic Church.

Contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, Shell Knob or St. Mary's Catholic Church, Joplin.
