Billy Gordon, 77, of Eagle Rock, passed away Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, in St. John's Hospital-Cassville.

He was born Feb. 13, 1929, in Ft. Worth, Texas, the son of Doc and Flossie Gordon. On Sept. 9, 1951, he was united in marriage to Deline Cooper, who preceded him in death Dec. 10, 1994. He was also preceded in death by his parents, three sons, one daughter and two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include: three daughters, Vicki Harris and her husband, Charlie, of Cottondale, Texas, Tina Hogan and her fiancÚ, Douglas, of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Tammy Nunnally, of Eagle Rock; one son, Billy Jack Gordon, of Eagle Rock; six grandchildren; one brother, Jack Gordon and his wife, Betty, of Washburn; two sisters, Linda Gordon and Edith Gordon, both of Ft. Worth, Texas; and nine great-grandchildren;

He received his education in Ft. Worth, Texas, where he graduated from high school. He retired from the United States Navy as Chief Petty Officer.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Ft. Worth, Texas.
