Wanda Adeen Houston, 94, of Cassville, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2006, in Red Rose Inn of Cassville.

She was born April 11, 1912, in Oklahoma, daughter of Marian and Bessie (Waldon) Harris. In 1929, she was united in marriage to Arthur A. "Tuffy" Houston, who preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 1975. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Betty Appelhans; son-in-law, Eugene Appelhans; daughter-in-law, Ethel Houston and one grandson, Rocky Wade.

Survivors include: two sons, Bill Houston, of Cassville, and Jim Houston and his wife, Jo, of Billings; a daughter, Pattie Wade and her husband, Farrel, of Springfield; 12 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was a lifelong resident of the Washburn-Cassville area. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Doyle Russell conducted the services. Burial was at Washburn Prairie Cemetery, Washburn.
