Wendell Lee Hilburn, 50, of Cassville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, in St. John's Hospital, Cassville.

He was born April 4, 1955, in Cassville the son of Claude and Betty (Boggess) Hilburn. On March 19, 1971, he was united in marriage to Wilma Ellis, who survives.

Additional survivors include: three daughters, Stephanie Jacobson and her husband, Craig, Michele Cotton and her husband, Chad, and Wendy Jo Craig and her husband, Jared, all of Cassville; his mother, Betty Hilburn, of Cassville; two brothers, Marty Hilburn, of Washburn, and Robbie Hilburn, of Aurora; five sisters, Sandy Miller, of Berryville, Ark., Carla Eden, of Aurora, Judy Tipton, of Exeter, Joy Phillips, of Cassville, and Sherry Sybel, of Independence; and six grandchildren,

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father, aunts and uncles.

He received his education in Cassville. He was in the construction business his whole life. He started out helping his Dad build houses and continued with his own backhoe business for 24 years.

Funeral services were held a Tuesday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Doyle Russell conducted the services. Burial was in Russell Cemetery, Butterfield, under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
