Elston O. Drummond, 69, of Cassville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, in St. John's Hospital-Cassville.

He was born May 16, 1936, in Rushford, N. Y., the son of Fred. C. and Grace (Hutchins) Drummond, who preceded him in death.

He graduated from Exeter High School with the Class of 1954. Elston served his country in the United States Army from August 1954 until August 1956 serving one tour of duty in Germany. Following his service, he continued his education at SMS in Springfield, where he graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Business. He was a social worker for the State of Missouri. He was a member of the First Baptist Church Exeter and VFW 4207-Monett.

Survivors include: one son, Rory Drummond, of Rogers, Ark.; one brother, Ralph Drummond, of Lexington, Ky.; and one sister, Ethel L. Morse, of Tebbett.

Graveside services with Military Honors were held Monday, in the City of Rogers Cemetery, under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Brad Lowrie conducted the services.
