The Purdy-Galena sectional baseball game has been moved to Warren Turner Field on the campus of Missouri Southern State University in Joplin tonight. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.

After the Purdy baseball team's first batter scored a run, pitcher Sydney Birge held up the tally to lead the Eagles to a win over Galena, 1-0, to advance to the Class 2 quarterfinal on Wednesday in Plato. "This was a great win," said Joshua Hughes, Purdy coach. "The boys bought in early to our system and came together when it mattered most to get the win."...
