Two of the three Cassville boys wrestlers at state are still in contention after day one at the tournament.

Akhilleus Arguelles and Jake Anthonyz both won their first-round matches and will wrestle again on Friday.

Kurt Deaver fell in his opener, then lost in the first round of consolations and was eliminated from the tournament.
