Pets of the Week

Meet Butch Taylor, the Haven of the Ozarks Pet of the Week. Butch was one of three puppies who were found sitting in the middle of a dirt road in a remote area miles away from anything. They were in really poor shape – severely malnourished, crusty, and had lost almost all their hair from flea dermatitis. Now, they are healthy, fixed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations. They are smart, super engaged, very cute and will be a great addition to any active family. In addition to Butch, the Haven has one brindle brother of his who is also in need of a home. For more information, call 417-835-3647 or meet them at the Haven, open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day of the week. Contributed photo

Meet Montee, the Haven of the Ozarks Pet of the Week. This super sweet girl came to the Haven from a place where she had been neglected. However, in spite of her rough start, Montee is still a friendly and trusting girl. She has raised babies and was a fantastic mom. Now, she’s ready to get some pampering of her own. Montee has been good with people of all ages and gets along well with other cats. She is also litterbox trained. Her estimated age is 3 years old.
