Cassville man injured in Harley wreck
Debris causes vehicle to hit culvert on Hwy. 248, ejecting driver
A Cassville man was injured on Tuesday in a wreck at 3:50 p.m. on Highway 248, three miles east of Cassville.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Michael Nash, 48, of Cassville, was driving a 2021 Harley Davidson Sport Glide westbound when his vehicle struck debris in the roadway, forcing the bike to travel off the right side of the roadway and strike a culvert, overturning and ejecting the driver.
Nash suffered serious injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
He was wearing a safety device, and the vehicle sustained extensive damage.
