Two Lady Wildcats in top 10 of Cassville Invitational

The Cassville cross country teams put on a show for home fans at the Cassville Invitational on Oct. 5 at South Park.

Every runner on the squad ran a personal best for the season, and two Lady Wildcats earned top 10 finishes.

“The meet was larger than it has been in the past with 26 schools bringing runners,” said Erin Flehmer, assistant cross country coach. “Overall the varsity girls finished 4th and the varsity boys finished 5th. We are very pleased with how our runners competed.
