DeWayne Holland, 76, of Seligman, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, Ark.
He was born Dec. 1, 1944, in Houston, Texas, the son of William Lester and Elsie Mae (Huckaby) Holland. On June 21, 1999, in Eureka Springs, Ark., he was united in marriage to Vicki Porter, who survives.
Additional survivors include: four sons, Marion Holland and his wife Patty of Rogers, Ark., Melvin Holland of Jonesboro, Ark., Rick Holland and his wife Regina of Bentonville, Ark., and Casey Hancock and his wife Alica of Joplin; four daughters, Becky Shideler and her husband Clark of Drumright, Okla.,, Gayla Plank and her husband David of Rogers, Ark., Alisha Irvine and her husband Dave of Neosho, and Teresa McNeil and her husband Bill of Joplin; one brother, Lloyd Holland and his wife Jean of Manning, Ark.; three sisters, Norma Wilkerson of Okmulgee, Okla., Lavon Jackson of Okmulgee, Okla., and Sharon Rucker and her husband Jerry of Bismarck, Ark.; 30 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one son, Carlin Hancock; four great grandchildren and three sisters, Joyce Shell, Donna Roberts and Dorothy Standlee.
He graduated from Diamond High School in Diamond. In 2006, he opened and operated Hollands Mobile RV Service. He enjoyed going to Jimmy Swaggart Camp Meetings. He was a proud member of Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
Services were held Monday, Oct. 11, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial was at Corinth Cemetery in Cassville.
