Meet Sugarcane Fields, the Haven of the Ozarks Pet of the Week. This beautiful, friendly pup is about three months old and is probably a mix of pointer, red heeler, or possibly hound. Without her parents for a size reference, it is unclear what size she will be when fully grown. The best guess is medium sized. She also has several siblings still in need of a home. Sugarcane and her buddies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, current on shots, and are on monthly flea treatment. They will make a great addition to any home. For more information, call 417-835-3647 or meet her at the Haven, open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day of the week. Contributed photo

Meet Puddy Tat, the Haven of the Ozarks Pet of the Week. Puddy is a handsome four month old boy who was rescued from a cat colony of around 40 felines in a nearby town. Because he started his life outside, he would make a good mouser. However, the staff at the Haven would love to find a home where he can have inside privileges and also safely enjoy the great outdoors at times. Puddy is a curious boy who gets along well with other cats and is litterbox trained. He had a rough start to life but is looking forward to better things from here on out. For more information, call 417-835-3647 or meet him at the Haven, open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day of the week. Contributed photo
