Darrel Loyd Weaver
Darrel Loyd Weaver, 85, of Cassville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, at his home.
He was born March 26, 1936, in Cassville, the son of Morris and Thelma (Ennis) Weaver. On Nov. 24, 1989, he was united in marriage to Bettie Parker, who survives.
Survivors include: two sons, LaDon Weaver of Ottawa, Kan., and Darren Weaver of Zena, Okla.; one daughter, Melissa Black and her husband Lee of Zena, Okla.; two step-daughters, Gayla Templeton and Tammy Puckett; one stepson, Billy Hutchins; one sister, Reta Voelker of Cassville; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Preceding him in death were his parents.
He grew up in the Cassville and Exeter area, graduating from Exeter High School. After graduating, he moved to Colorado then Van Buren, Ark., where he lived 20 years before returning to Cassville to retire. He was a self-employed mechanic for most of his career. He was employed at Kenís Car Care in Barling, Ark., as a mechanic for several years. His love of flying led him to build an ultralight airplane that he enjoyed flying.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville with
Larry Westpheling conducting the services. Burial was at Mineral Springs Cemetery, Cassville.
The family received friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
