James Douglas “J.D.” Robbins
James Douglas “J.D.” Robbins, 68, of Washburn, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
He was born Nov. 25, 1952, in Scottsbluff, Neb., the son of Roy and Ophelia (Bowling) Robbins. On Aug. 5, 1972, in Cassville, he was united in marriage to Faye Price, who survives.
Additional survivors include: one son, Brian Robbins and his wife Angie of Washburn; two daughters, Tracy House and her husband Chris of Cassville, and Heather Moore and her husband Joe of Diamond; one sister, Linda Tichenor of Exeter; five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, Kenny Robbins and one sister, Debbie Lewis.
He spent his entire life in Barry County, receiving his education in Exeter, graduating from Exeter High School in 1971. He was employed by FASCO Industries in Cassville as a machinist for several years. He was of the Baptist faith.
Graveside services were held Saturday, March 27, at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Randy Comer conducted the services.
