Exeter boys, girls earn No. 5 seeds

Both teams play Saturday on the road

The Exeter boys and girls basketball teams will have their seasons on the line Saturday, as both teams will hit the road for Class 1, District 4 quarterfinal action.

The Tigers and Lady Tigers both earned No. 5 seeds. The girls will play at No. 4 Hurley at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the winner facing No. 1 Chadwick at 6 p.m. on Monday. No. 3 Niangua will host No. 6 School of the Ozarks at 11 a.m. Saturday, with that winner facing No. 2 Bradleyville at 6 p.m. on Monday. The championship is set for 6 p.m. on Feb. 26.

The boys will face No. 4 School of the Ozarks at 4 p.m. Saturday, with the winner heading to Chadwick at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. No. 2 Niangua will host No. 7 Hurley, and No. 3 Bradleyville will host No. 6 Lutie, both games at 4 p.m. Saturday. The winners of those contests will match up at 6 p.m. Tuesday, and the championship is set for 8 p.m. on Feb. 26.
