Portion of Hwy. 76 closed part of this afternoon

Rolled semi being removed between Roaring River, Hwy. 39

The removal of a rolled semi today will close a portion of Highway 76 this afternoon.

From noon to 4 p.m., Highway 76 will be closed between Barry County Farm Road 1200 and Highway 39, east of Cassville between Roaring River State Park and Highway 39, while crews remove the semi that rolled over Wednesday.

All lanes of Highway 76 will be closed where crews are working to remove the semi-truck

Drivers will have access to driveways and entrances on either end of the closure but will not be able to drive through the work zone

There are no signed detours, and drivers are urged to find alternate routes

Signs and message boards will alert drivers to work zone
