Mary “Betty” Miller
Mary “Betty” Miller, 96, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020.
She was born Oct. 31, 1924, in Grand Junction, Colo., the daughter of Charles Walter and Edith (Hankins) Barker who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are her husband; two brothers, Ted and Charles Barker; one sister, Anna Mae Divilla and one granddaughter.
She married Harold Miller in 1942 at Rev. Silas’ home, they were married for 51 years. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, taught Sunday School and Bible School, was a member of the choir and played the organ and the piano when needed. Betty was a member of the WMV and worked at Roaring River Restaurant for 34 years. Survivors include: five sons, Gerry Miller and his wife Tamorah of Cassville, Bill Miller and his wife Kay of Joplin, Danny Miller and his wife Debbie of Cassville, Timmy Miller of Cassville and Kerry Miller and his wife Debra of Golden; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, Dec. 18, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Donnie Spears conducted the services. Burial was at Corinth Cemetery in Cassville.
