Karen Sue Eisiminger
Karen Sue Eisiminger Every, 80, passed away Tuesday Oct. 27, 2020, at her residence in Golden.
She was born in Hutchinson, Kan., the daughter of the late Kenneth and Ruth (Wright) Eisiminger. She married Harrold Robert Every Sept. 2, 1961.
She was a graduate of Hutchinson High School, Hutchinson, Kan., and received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Baker University in 1961, and received her Master’s of Business Administration from Baker University in 1988. She also graduated from the Harvard University Summer Session Graduate School of Education, MLE Management of Life Long Learning.
She worked for Rockhurst University as the Director of American Humanics and the first Director of Service learning from 1981 – 1998. She and her husband retired to Golden in 1998.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Shell Knob.
Survivors include: her husband of 59 years, Harrold Robert Every of Golden; her daughters, Kathleen Every Darrington (Greg) of Overland Park, Kan., and Kerri Every Allen (Bill) of Louisburg, Kan.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Shell Knob on Nov. 6, at 5 p.m. Social distancing and mask rules should be followed.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
