Haven hosting Strut Your Mutt fundraiser

The Haven of the Ozarks, in partnership with Best Friends Animal Society, is participating in Strut Your Mutt-a virtual fundraiser this year for animal shelters across the nation. Best Friends is the largest no-kill shelter in the country and is the founder of the national no-kill movement. The Haven of the Ozarks was founded as a no-kill shelter in 1994 and is a safe haven for abandoned and abused dogs and cats until they find their forever homes. Join the Haven in this fun fall event to help us raise money for its dogs and cats. To join, go to: support.bestfriends.org. In the Team Search Box, look for Haven of the Ozarks Animal Sanctuary. Follow the prompts to donate. Participants will see a picture of the Haven’s sweet Martha, who was abandoned in a ditch, but has now found her forever home. People can also learn more about the no-kill movement and the Haven. “It’s simple, it’s fun and it’s a wonderful way to support Haven of the Ozarks,” said Sherah Selby Farris, Haven director.

“Don’t wait! Donate today. We have until Oct. 24 to reach our fundraising goal- or, if we’re lucky, to surpass it. Thank you for supporting the haven and our mission as a no-kill shelter.”
