Everett “Dean” Boyer

Everett “Dean” Boyer, 69, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Friday, Oct. 2, 2020, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.

He was born Jan. 8, 1951, in Cassville the son of Millard and Emily Louise (Tucker) Boyer. Preceding him in death were his father and grandparents, Everett and Harriett Tucker and Dean and Pearl Boyer.

Survivors include: his mother, Louise; two brothers, Rick Boyer and his wife Marilyn of Lynchburg, Va., and Keith Boyer also of Lynchburg; and one sister, Connie Boyer of Wichita, Kan.

He grew up and received most of his education in Haysville, Kan., graduating from high school at Cassville in 1970 and then attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar. For fourteen years, he was a bass singer at the Roy Clark Theater in Branson and was voted Bass Singer of the Year. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Cassville.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Cassville under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Milford Baker will conduct the services.
