First COVID positive hits Cassville schools
20 middle school students quarantined
About 20 Cassville Middle School students have been quarantined after a student at the campus tested positive for COVID-19.
Richard Asbill, Cassville superintendent, said the positive result was received on Aug. 29.
“We also know of at least six children who are quarantined as a result of another incident involving siblings and a daycare,” Asbill said. “In total, there are about 10 students in quarantine for non-school-related reasons.”
Asbill said there are also three staff members currently in quarantine, also because of issues away from school.
