Lemonade stand donates to Bright Futures

Wednesday, September 2, 2020
Cassville preschool student Emmy Clevenger started a not-for-profit lemonade stand at the young age of 4 years old. Sales from the lemonade stand benefit different organizations in the community. During the month of August, Clevenger opened up her stand and gave the proceeds to local school districts and asked that the money be used for school supplies. Pictured, Clevenger presents Eric White, co-director of learning at Cassville, with a check, along with various school supplies. Funds will be donated to the district’s Bright Futures program. Bright Futures, established at Cassville Schools in 2011, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing community members together to focus on the success of children. Contributed photo
